M P Cordia & Associates Pty Ltd was founded in 1984 by Michael Cordia and specialised in quantity surveying and project management. Michael’s forty-five years of professional skills as a registered building practitioner (QS 31684) gained in quantity surveying, project management and building construction bring considerable experience from which to draw upon for advice and the benefit of the company’s clients. Michael was previously an associate director (1995) and a director (2000) with D G Jones Australia Pty Ltd where he managed the Melbourne office of that practice.

In 2013 Frank Kummerle was appointed Associate Director and Aruna Perera was appointed as an Associate.

Frank’s twenty-five years of extensive quantity surveying and cost management experience in housing, education, health and sports facilities adds to the depth of experience available to our clients. He has also undertaken several major building projects in the role of project manager. Frank was previously an associate director of D G Jones Australia Pty Ltd (2000).

Dubravka (Debbie) Cordia as Director and Financial Controller brings 22 years of accounting, marketing and office management experience, ensuring the continued efficient administration of the practice.

Aruna brings years of experience in quantity surveying and cost planning in housing, education, health, multi-level commercial and hotel construction. He is also a registered practitioner managing capital works tax depreciation assessments.

The practice employs 8 professional quantity surveying staff with a wide range of experience in cost management, construction and project management. As such we are able to offer the services of a multi-disciplinary practice in property and construction with an established reputation for adding value to our Clients objectives on minor and major projects alike.

We offer our clients pro-active risk management advice and practical project solutions that add value to their strategic goals minimising risk exposure in property, construction, engineering and investment related projects.
